LINOLEUM BLOCK PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP - 453235

Learn the basics of linoleum block printmaking with this two-meeting workshop. Students will learn the tools and techniques needed to hand print small linoluem block relief prints on their own. Over the first meeting, the instructor will introduce and demonstrate the image transfer process, carving the block, inking and printing of an image. Between meetings, students will work on their own image transfer and carving of the block. At the second meeting, students will be able to finish carving, test print, adjust their design and print an edition in black.
